## Who it is not for

- Institutions that must stay on Moodle or Open edX: use the managed tiers, which Cubite runs for you.
- Organizations that need the platform on their own servers: that is the Perpetual licence, not the hosted plan.
- Buyers who need SAML SSO, SCIM or an uptime SLA on paper: those are Enterprise terms, quoted per organization.

## Total cost versus a LearnDash stack

LearnDash is a WordPress plugin, so its real monthly cost is the sum of everything around it. Vendors price differently and change often, so check their current pages. Cubite Growth is $290 a month all-in. A LearnDash stack needs:
- LearnDash licence: annual plugin licence, per site
- WordPress hosting: sized for logged-in learners, not cached pages
- SCORM or xAPI player plugin: LearnDash does not play SCORM or xAPI natively
- Learning Record Store (LRS): needed to keep xAPI completion records
- Groups, certificates and reporting add-ons: sold separately or via a second plugin suite
- Someone to update WordPress, the theme and every plugin: the recurring cost that never appears on a pricing page

## Billing

- Growth is billed monthly at $290 or annually at $2,900 (two months free). Billed monthly, cancel anytime.
- Sign-up is free; no trial length or free-tier limits are published.
- One site = one branded learning site on its own domain or a cubite.io subdomain, unlimited courses and learners.
- Perpetual: $7,500 once, then $1,500 a year for maintenance and support (updates, patches, backups) on our servers or your VM.
- Managed Moodle and Open edX: cloud included on the Lean, Resilient, Standard and Growth tiers; Scale tiers bill cloud through at cost.
- Taxes depend on where you are and appear on the invoice.
