# Connect Cubite LMS to ChatGPT

In short: Connect Cubite to ChatGPT in developer mode: add a connector with https://cubite.io/api/mcp/mcp as the server URL, sign in to Cubite, tick the site or sites, approve the permissions. Developer mode unlocks all 137 tools; ChatGPT's research modes (Deep Research, company knowledge) use the server's built-in search and fetch tools.

## Steps

1. Turn on developer mode. In ChatGPT settings, enable developer mode. OpenAI has moved this more than once; if the wording differs, look for connectors or plugins in settings.
2. Add the connector. Add a connector and paste https://cubite.io/api/mcp/mcp as the server address. Name it Cubite.
3. Sign in and approve. Sign in to Cubite when prompted, tick the site (or sites) to connect, and approve the listed permissions.
4. Use it. Enable the Cubite connector in a chat and ask for a concrete task. In Deep Research and company knowledge modes, your courses, pages and posts are searchable through the server's search and fetch tools.

## Notes

- Developer mode availability depends on your ChatGPT plan; check OpenAI's current documentation.
- Writes (creating courses, enrolling learners, issuing certificates) run only with developer mode and the matching permission approved.
- Disconnect: Remove the connector from ChatGPT's settings at any time; the grant stops working immediately.
